PRE ORDER MEANING

A pre-order is when you place and pay for an item before it is made or available to ship. The product is then prepared or produced after your order is placed and shipped at a later date.

  • You are securing your wig or extensions in advance
ORDER TIMELINE

1. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation via email and WhatsApp. This confirms that your order has been successfully received and is now in our system. Please review your order details carefully to ensure all specifications, including wig style, cap size, and colour, are correct.

2. Our factory will start selecting the hair bundles for your wig. Each bundle is then dyed and made into your custom wig using your exact cap measurements.

3. Once your wig is constructed, it is then shipped from Vietnam to our HQ in London, UK for customisation and styling.

4. Before dispatch, each wig undergoes a thorough quality check. We inspect the hair texture, density, fit, colour accuracy, and overall finish to ensure it meets our standards.

5. Once your wig passes the quality check, it is carefully packaged and dispatched to your address. You will receive a tracking number so you can follow your Muse’s journey from our hands to your doorstep.

PROCESSING INFORMATION

Processing time is the period between when you place your order and when it is shipped.

Frontals and bundles have a processing times of 2 weeks (10-14 days)

Our wigs have a processing time of up to 6 weeks (42–45 business days, excluding weekends). Once your order is placed, our factory begins selecting your bundles, dyeing the hair, and constructing your custom wig. It is then sent to our HQ for final customisation and styling before it is dispatched to you.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

We aim to get your orders to you as quickly as possible, as we understand the 2 to 6 week processing time can feel long. Here’s how we ship your order

1. Shipping Timing


WIGS ONLY


Shipping begins only after the processing window is complete. Please allow 6 weeks (42–45 business days, excluding weekends) for your wig to be made, customised, and prepared for shipment.

EXTENSIONS ONLY

Shipping begins only after the processing window is complete. Please allow up to 2 weeks (10-14 day business days, excluding weekends) for your extensions to be made.

2. Shipping Address

Ensure your shipping address is correct and complete. Errors or omissions can affect delivery.

3. Tracking Information

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via WhatsApp and email, allowing you to monitor your package throughout its delivery journey.

4. UK Shipping

All UK orders are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm (Next Day Delivery) for custom wigs. Royal Mailed Tracked 48 with signature for frontals, closures and bundles.

5. USA & Canada

For international orders to the USA and Canada, please allow 2–4 business days for delivery via DHL. All import duties, taxes, and applicable fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in your shipping costs.

6. Europe

For orders shipped to Europe, please allow 2–3 business days for delivery via DPD.

7. Important – Liability

We are not liable for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged once they leave our facility. Any issues with delivery must be resolved directly with the courier. No refunds will be issued for lost, stolen, or damaged packages, or due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

WIG ONLY

We want to reassure you that your wig order is fully protected during transit. All wig purchases include shipping protection, which means that in the unlikely event your package is lost, stolen, or damaged, you are covered. This does not apply to frontal, closure and bundle orders.

If any issues occur during delivery, compensation can be arranged through the courier service to ensure you are not left out of pocket. Your peace of mind is important to us, and we are committed to making sure your order arrives safely and securely.

REFUND & RETURNS

Refund and Return Policy

All wigs sold by The Mane Muse Collective are custom-made to the specifications of the purchaser and, due to hygiene considerations, are exempt from the statutory right of cancellation under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (UK).

Accordingly, wigs, frontals, closures and bundles cannot be returned once they have been worn, restyled, the lace has been cut, or the original tag has been removed.

Refunds will only be provided where a defect or fault is established that is attributable to The Mane Muse Collective. In such cases, the defective item must be returned in the same condition as originally delivered. Upon verification of the fault, The Mane Muse Collective will, at its discretion, provide a refund.

This policy is intended to comply with UK consumer law while protecting hygiene standards and the quality of bespoke products.

CAP SIZE MEASUREMENT GUIDE

FOR CUSTOM WIGS ONLY

For your wig to fit perfectly accurate head circumference measurements are essential. Use the guide below to determine your size:


  • Small (21") – If your head measures up to 21", select Small. Measurements between 20.5" and 21" should be rounded up to 21" for an accurate fit.

  • Medium (22") – If your head measures up to 22", select Medium. Measurements between 21.5" and 22" should be rounded up to 22".

  • Large (23") – If your head measures up to 23", select Large. Measurements between 22.5" and 23" should be rounded up to 23".

  • Extra Large (24") – If your head measures up to 24", select Extra Large. Measurements between 23.5" and 24" should be rounded up to 24".

Tip: If your measurement falls past the 0.5 mark, always round up to the next size for the best fit.

AMENDMENT POLICY

We understand that sometimes you may want to make changes to your order. To ensure your wig is created exactly as you want, we allow amendments to pre-orders within 24 hours of purchase.

Amendments include:


  • Cap size changes (Wigs)

  • Style changes (Wigs)

  • Parting changes (Wigs)

  • Colour changes (Wigs & Extensions)

After 24 hours, we are unable to accommodate any amendments, as your wig will already be in production.

To request an amendment, please contact us immediately via email or WhatsApp with your order details and the changes you’d like to make.

Note: All amendments are subject to availability of materials and production schedules.

WIG INFORMATION

Our wigs are currently available in lengths ranging from 22" to 28".


  • 22" – 24": Made with 3 bundles (300% Density)

  • 26" – 28": Made with 4 bundles (400% Density)

Each wig is made to ensure consistent fullness and a balanced finish across all lengths.

Shedding Disclaimer

This wig is made from 100% human hair and has been coloured to a honey blonde shade. Due to the colouring and lightening process, slight shedding may occur.

To maintain the quality of your wig, avoid brushing or combing the hair aggressively. Always detangle gently, starting from the ends and working your way up.

COLOUR DISCLAIMER

While we make every effort to ensure colour accuracy across all our wigs, slight variations may occur.

All wigs and extensions are custom dyed, and as a result, subtle differences in tone, depth, and finish are to be expected. These variations are a natural part of the process and contribute to the individuality of each piece.

Please note that product colours may appear darker or slightly different in photographs due to lighting, camera settings, and screen display variations.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that minor colour variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for refunds or exchanges.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Customers may cancel their order within 24 hours of purchase.

After this 24-hour period has passed, cancellations will no longer be accepted, as your order will have entered processing.

We kindly advise all customers to ensure they are confident in their selection before completing their purchase and to remain committed to the stated processing timeframe.
